Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist

About This Role

Provide speech and language assessments and therapy services to K-12 students in Athol, MA, covering a maternity leave through mid-April 2026. This onsite contract role involves developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with school staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language assessments and therapy services to students
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences

Requirements

• Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families

Nice to Have

• Experience working in school settings (K-12)
• Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders
• Experience with teletherapy
