This role involves managing the patient and business aspects of an outpatient physical therapy center, ensuring an exceptional experience for patients from their arrival to their next appointment scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients
- Provide information about expectations during visits and upcoming appointments
- Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
- Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation companies
- Communicate with market operational leaders and business development team
- Collect co-pays from patients
- Manage payer approvals
- Conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
- Health Care Experience
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of front desk experience; 1 year of medical office experience preferred
