Patient Service Specialist

About This Role

This role involves managing the patient and business aspects of an outpatient physical therapy center, ensuring an exceptional experience for patients from their arrival to their next appointment scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients
• Provide information about expectations during visits and upcoming appointments
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation companies
• Communicate with market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients
• Manage payer approvals
• Conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• Health Care Experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of front desk experience; 1 year of medical office experience preferred
