The Patient Care Coordinator supports clinic growth by managing patient intake processes and ensuring efficient daily operations within the clinic. This entry-level role is responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment and handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Schedule new referrals received by fax or telephone from patients and physician offices
• Verify insurance coverage for patients
• Collect patient payments at the time of service
• Maintain an orderly and organized front office workspace
• Convert referrals into evaluations
• Create an inviting clinic atmosphere
• Make welcome calls to patients
• Monitor and influence patient arrival rates
• Manage clinic schedule efficiently

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and organizational detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Efficient time management and presentation skills
