Paramedic

About This Role

This Paramedic role with First Call Ambulance involves performing lifesaving procedures and patient care, often in emergency transport scenarios, while adhering to company policies and state regulations. The position requires a focus on professional conduct, teamwork, and continuous training to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a Paramedic within the scope of practice set forth by the Medical Director and State EMS Agency
• Drive emergency or non-emergency vehicles using defensive driving training techniques, if licensed
• Abide by the policies, procedures, and protocols of the company
• Maintain a professional appearance, conduct, and attitude in a caring manner
• Work cooperatively with other employees, health care personnel, patients, and family members
• Complete required paperwork and documents appropriately and completely
• Evaluate vehicles and equipment daily for cleanliness, safety, and proper working order
• Report accidents, problems, incidents, failed equipment or vehicles, and worker’s compensation injuries to the company promptly
• Complete required training and education to keep certifications and job class requirements current
• Attend in-services, run report reviews, and other quality assurance activities

Requirements

• Currently hold and maintain State License for State of Employment (Paramedic)
