Paramedic

About This Role

This Paramedic role performs patient care and support activities under a Provider's direction, including administering medications, monitoring vitals, and assisting with administrative duties. The position provides safe and compassionate care while maintaining a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and support activities under the direction of a Provider
• Administer medications and IVs as ordered
• Monitor and record patient vitals
• Perform venipunctures and process lab results
• Process referrals and documentation accurately
• Provide safe and compassionate care to all patients
• Assist with department administrative duties
• Remain flexible for cross-training and occasionally assist outside normal scope of practice
• Observe, identify, and take initiative to help move the organization forward
