Paramedic

About This Role

This Paramedic role is responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency patient care while ensuring compliance with Georgia EMS regulations. The position involves maintaining ambulance equipment, handling administrative tasks, and upholding professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all calls for service dispatched from the Puckett EMS communications center as directed
• Provide care and treatment to patients according to company policy and medical director protocols
• Ensure ambulance and all equipment are cleaned and checked daily, reporting deficiencies to the shift supervisor or Operations Manager
• Prepare and complete appropriate reports including Patient Care Reports (PCR), billing, exposure reports, incident reports, daily, weekly, and monthly unit check offs
• Ensure unit and crew members adhere to Puckett EMS policies, procedures, guidelines, directives, and standards, reporting any deficiencies
• Ensure vehicles placed in-service comply with required laws, rules, licenses, and regulations as outlined by the State of Georgia and other authorized agencies
• Maintain a state of readiness and professionalism while on-duty and in company uniform
• Attend mandatory training in addition to all Paramedic required courses

Requirements

• Compliance with all State of Georgia EMS rules and regulations
• All company required licenses and certifications for a Paramedic position
• State of Georgia Driver's License
