OSP Field Manager

About This Role

Lead and coordinate multi-project initiatives in structured cabling, audio/visual systems, and security infrastructure within the telecom industry, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Manage installation of structured cabling (Cat6, fiber), AV systems (displays, conferencing), and security systems (CCTV, access control)
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA/EIA, NEC, BICSI, etc.)
• Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions
• Approve invoices and change orders
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving issues proactively
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations
• Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, schedules, and close-out packages
• Prepare post-project evaluations and lessons learned

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management
• Strong experience in Structured Cabling and AV installations
• Proficiency in project tracking, billing, and resource allocation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Experience with Blue Beam and other project documentation tools

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AIA billing standards
• Experience using SiteOwl for AV project tracking
• Advanced skills in Blue Beam for markup and collaboration
