This contract position offers a Registered Nurse with operating room experience a rewarding 13-week opportunity in Meridian, ID, to apply their skills in a fast-paced surgical environment. The role involves supporting patient care during critical procedures with an 8-hour day shift schedule and some on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient status throughout surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
• Respond efficiently to emergencies and unexpected changes during operations

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with Operating Room nursing experience
• Strong understanding of surgical instruments and operating room protocols
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to take call as needed during the assignment
