OR Nurse (RN)

About This Role

This contract role requires an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Operating Room (OR) care to provide high-quality circulating support in a short-term acute care setting. The nurse will contribute to patient care in a Level IV Trauma Center with modern facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulating nurse duties within the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and smooth surgical workflow
• Float between units as needed, based on skill set and staffing demands
• Participate in on-call rotations, including one weekend every 5 to 6 weeks and one night per week
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to meet 1:1 patient ratios
• Adapt to floating assignments, possibly including facilities in surrounding communities such as Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, and others
• Utilize Epic for charting patient care and documentation

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Operating Room experience
• Circulating nursing duties experience
• Reliable personal vehicle required for travel among facilities
• Flexibility to float to other units and sites

Qualifications

• Operating Room experience, especially in circulating nursing duties
