This full-time, on-site Optometrist position involves providing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing various eye conditions, and developing personalized care plans for patients. The role requires collaboration with other eye care professionals and patient education on preventive eye care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and manage eye conditions such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy
- Offer personalized care plans
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Monitor post-surgical recovery
- Collaborate with other eye care professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Educate patients on preventive eye care and offer recommendations
Requirements
- Proficient in conducting thorough eye examinations and diagnosing a variety of eye conditions
- Skilled in prescribing corrective lenses, management of glaucoma, and treatment of other ocular diseases
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to utilize advanced eye care technologies effectively in a clinical setting
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure to practice optometry
- Commitment to staying updated on advancements in optometry and new treatment methods
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
