Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and treat visual impairments
• Prescribe corrective lenses

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of diagnosing and treating various eye diseases and conditions
• Proficiency in conducting thorough eye examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and recommending treatment plans
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage medical records accurately
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• State licensure and certification to practice optometry
