An Optometric Assistant at Visionworks is the initial point of contact for patients, conducting preliminary eye health testing and guiding them through the eye care experience. This role ensures patient needs are met with a focus on service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
- Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
- Transition patient to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to recommend products and services
- Execute day-to-day operational activities including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones
- Open/close the store/office to support business as needed
Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
Qualifications
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
- Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
