Optimization Manager, Renewables

About This Role

Pearce is seeking a highly skilled Optimization Manager with deep knowledge and experience in the Renewables industry. This role involves identifying improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and delivering successful projects within the Innovation and Optimization team.

Responsibilities

• Identify improvement initiatives to reduce costs or grow revenue, emphasizing a GIS platform
• Define business cases and align initiatives with organizational goals
• Develop clear roadmaps, project plans, timelines, and allocate resources
• Assess program performance, benchmark, and present findings to senior leadership
• Research trends, secure client stakeholder buy-in, and implement changes
• Lead and oversee project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, manage project budgets, and address stakeholder concerns
• Plan for and mitigate risks across all projects in the program
• Maintain program documentation and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
• Evaluate project success, lessons learned, and identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Experience in the Renewable Energy industry
• 3+ years of experience using ESRI products and/or knowledge of software development best practices
• Proven experience as a program manager handling multiple $1M+ projects
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, GIS, or related field. MBA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience using ESRI products and/or knowledge of software development best practices. Proven experience as a program manager handling multiple $1M+ projects.
