Optimization Manager, Renewables

About This Role

Lead and manage optimization programs within the Renewables industry, focusing on identifying improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and improving operational workflow. This role involves planning, executing, and delivering successful projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams and executives.

Responsibilities

• Identify improvement initiatives with emphasis on the GIS platform to reduce costs or grow revenue
• Define business cases for initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders and aligning with organizational goals
• Develop clear roadmaps, project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocations for execution
• Assess program performance and trends, deliver senior leadership presentations, and secure stakeholder buy-in
• Lead and oversee project teams, providing guidance and ensuring effective communication
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, manage project interdependencies, and adjust plans as needed
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation while addressing stakeholder concerns
• Plan for and mitigate risks and adapt to evolving circumstances across all projects
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and conduct regular reviews and assessments

Requirements

• Experience in Renewable Energy
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, GIS, or related field
• 3+ years of experience using ESRI products and/or knowledge of software development best practices
• Proven experience as a program manager handling multiple $1M+ projects
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
