Operations Manager

About This Role

Lead and manage all manufacturing activities, including Production, Maintenance, Health & Safety, Quality, and Shipping & Receiving, at a flexible packaging manufacturing facility in Greensboro.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and develop supervisors and managers; foster an engaging work environment; attract and retain talent
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, food safety, and environmental regulations; enforce GMP standards
• Optimize production, minimize downtime through preventive/corrective maintenance, and analyze real-time data to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives
• Drive BRC compliance, lead Continuous Improvement projects, and reduce non-conformities
• Manage budgets and optimize material, human, and financial resources

Requirements

• 10+ years in manufacturing
• 3+ years in management
• Flexible packaging experience
• Technical knowledge in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in manufacturing, including 3+ years in management
