Operations Manager

About This Role

This role involves overseeing key facility and warehouse operations, leading logistics, managing personnel, and ensuring process execution for a luxury home decor company. The Manager balances hands-on engagement with administrative duties, focusing on continuous improvement and operational discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily facility maintenance/repairs and warehouse departments including Operations, Safety, Quality Control, Repairs and Dallas DC (remote management)
• Own carrier relationships, negotiating rates & routes and troubleshooting issues
• Lead and supervise facility/warehouse-based supervisors, leads, and associates
• Build, lead and enforce safety programs and standards to promote a culture of workplace safety
• Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff in partnership with Sr. Director of Warehouse Operations
• Execute and uphold SOPs across all warehouse operations functions
• Partner with leadership to manage labor planning, scheduling, and overtime control
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
• Utilize ERP, WMS, and TMS systems to optimize workflows and reporting

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive warehouse operations experience, including people management
• Strong management and coaching skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience working with ERP/WMS systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain, logistics, or business
• 5+ years of progressive warehouse operations experience, including people management
