Operations Manager

About This Role

The Operations Manager overseas daily shop operations, driving efficiency and profitability, and developing a high-performing service team for consistent, high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all shop staff including service technicians, lot porters, and admins
• Understand individual contributors productivity, efficiency, and capabilities
• Attend and engage in weekly service-related meetings to ensure the team is on track to hit goals
• Assign repair orders based on technician skill set
• Ensure efficiency and productivity goals are tracking on an individual and team basis
• Manage customer experience as needed
• Manage and monitor P & L, identifying revenue and labor hours opportunities
• Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams within the dealership
• Assist employees with tools they need to be successful in their roles
• Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations within shop and maintain safety protocols to create a secure working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry
• Saturday availability
• Strong leadership, team management, and time management skills
• Experience in managing a P & L and forecasting goals
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in manufacturing and operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry, with a preference for RV or automotive manufacturing

Nice to Have

• Technical knowledge of RVs
• Experience driving a forklift
