Operations Manager

About This Role

This role involves supporting the Store Manager in leading and strategically operating a CVS/pharmacy store. It focuses on driving store execution and performance, ensuring excellent customer service, and building consumer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store operations, supervision, and policy implementation
• Oversee sales and inventory management
• Handle employee staffing, training, and development
• Manage financial aspects of the store
• Provide leadership in customer service
• Lead and work effectively with store crews
• Supervise, assign, and direct activities of the store's crew
• Communicate information effectively to store crew and supervisors
• Support Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints
• Promote CVS customer service culture including greeting, offering help, and thanking customers

• Deductive reasoning ability
• Advanced analytical skills
• Computer skills
• Advanced communication skills
• Leadership, supervision, and influencing skills
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule (early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime)
• Ability to respond to urgent issues at the store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a retail manager or supervisor
