This Operations Manager will support the Store Manager in leading the strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store, focusing on driving execution, performance, and customer loyalty. The role involves overall store management, sales, inventory, employee development, and financial oversight.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation
- Manage sales and inventory effectively
- Oversee employee staffing, training, and development
- Handle financial management aspects of the store
- Provide leadership in customer service
- Lead and work effectively with store crews
- Supervise, assign, and direct activities of the store’s crew
- Communicate information to store crew and supervisors openly and timely
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints
- Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank)
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability
- Advanced analytical skills
- Computer skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Leadership, supervision, and influencing skills
- Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required
Nice to Have
- Experience as a retail manager or supervisor
