Operations Manager

About This Role

This Operations Manager will support the Store Manager in leading and strategically operating a CVS/pharmacy store, focusing on driving execution, performance, and building customer loyalty. This role involves managing store operations, sales, inventory, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store operations, supervision, and policy implementation
• Oversee sales and inventory management
• Handle employee staffing, training, and development
• Manage financial aspects of the store
• Lead customer service initiatives
• Lead and work effectively with store crews
• Supervise, assign, and direct activities of the store's crew
• Communicate information to store crew and supervisors effectively
• Support Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability
• Advanced analytical skills
• Computer skills
• Advanced communication skills
• Leadership, supervision, and influencing skills
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to respond to urgent issues at the store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a retail manager or supervisor
