Operations Associate

About This Role

This Operations Associate position focuses on creating an outstanding customer experience for JCPenney, primarily working early mornings to perform operational functions before the store opens. The role involves managing merchandise, pricing, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service when interacting with customers on the sales floor
• Execute pricing and signing changes on merchandise across the store
• Replenish and restock merchandise in the store to ensure availability for customers
• Receive and unload merchandise trucks, preparing items in the backroom
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized stockroom
• Contribute to Omnichannel efforts including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, and Order Delivery and Returns
• Implement merchandising strategies communication by leadership to place merchandise efficiently
• Participate in learning opportunities regarding merchandise, shrink, safety, and business processes

Requirements

• 1-2 years retail experience
