This role involves managing special education cases for elementary school students, focusing on developing and overseeing individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensuring compliance with educational standards through telehealth services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage special education cases for elementary school students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs according to state guidelines
• Facilitate communication between families, educators, and service providers
• Conduct case management and related meetings via telehealth platforms
• Track student progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed
• Assess, develop, and oversee individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations
• Manage case documentation
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and service providers
• Conduct virtual meetings to monitor and support student progress

Requirements

• Proven experience as a case manager in special education, preferably within elementary education
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills for managing multiple cases effectively
• Ability to deliver services virtually using telehealth platforms
• Familiarity with assessment tools and developing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Commitment to supporting student growth and inclusive education practices

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a case manager in special education, preferably within elementary education
