Officer Senior Trainer

About This Role

The Officer Senior Trainer will conduct doctrinal staff training for Army Warfighting Functions, educating command groups and staff on Mission Command and supporting staff exercises. They will manage training requests, ensure alignment with strategic plans, and integrate necessary contractor training resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct doctrinal staff training on all Army WfFs educating the command group and staff on Mission command art and science.
• Directly support staff exercises in a trainer role.
• Act as the main point of entry to obtain, review, and process training requests IAW the Commander's intent.
• Ensure training requests adhere to the overall strategic plan and vision outlined by the unit commander.
• Track all approved events and inform the commander or staff of any changes or updates to the training event.
• Integrate the required contractor training resources prior to and during the event.
• Examine doctrine, plans, policies and procedures to enhance and enrich the training environment.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Completed CGSC / ILE (MEL 4) military education
• Previous Battalion level or higher echelon Sergeants Major experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and completed CGSC / ILE (MEL 4) military education
• Previous Battalion level or higher echelon Sergeants Major experience.

Nice to Have

• Brigade or Division-level Sergeants Major experience
• Primary staff NCOIC experience
