About This Role

This Office Manager role serves as the central point of contact for the Austin office, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations. The primary focus will be on stabilizing office operations, managing vendors, controlling costs, and enhancing the employee experience to support a growing local team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Austin office, employees, vendors, landlord, and public/private bodies
  • Manage office facilities and workplace safety, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment (Health & Safety)
  • Oversee office administration including equipment, supplies, access management, licenses, and lease-related topics
  • Coordinate with IT on employee logistics (laptop returns, exchanges, IT equipment handovers)
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, insurance, renewals, and service quality monitoring
  • Control and report on office cash-flow, cost forecasts, and office budget
  • Provide operational support to Finance, including check deposits and routine office-based financial tasks
  • Organize and support company events and employee experience initiatives (team buildings, All Hands, celebrations, training logistics)
  • Manage meeting rooms, internal meetings, visitor reception, travel bookings, and official correspondence
  • Handle day-to-day office issues, facility tickets, repairs, and continuous office improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in office management, administration, or facilities management
  • Proven experience in office & facility operations in an on-site environment
  • Strong budget tracking, cost control, and reporting skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in office management, administration, or facilities management

Nice to Have

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Degree in business, office management, or administration
  • Previous experience in a high-tech / SaaS environment
  • Broad interest in IT and technology
