About This Role

Manage the day-to-day clerical operations of a facility, providing exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff. This role handles administrative tasks, financial record-keeping, and supports facility census and payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and accurately record all resident information before, during, and after admission
  • Monitor and maintain resident bank accounts, facility petty cash, and complete facility deposits
  • Monitor Resident Trust funds, including cash withdrawals and depositing resident money
  • Accurately compile Medicare billing, insurance billing, and other accounts receivables; manage collection efforts
  • Coordinate timely submission of accounts payable to Home Office
  • Support tracking of facility census reporting
  • Maintain payroll and time clock information for accurate and timely processing of employee payroll
  • Manage the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications and maintain a professional image
  • Complete a wide variety of clerical functions including mail sorting, filing, and creating forms
  • Evaluate need for and order adequate supplies and equipment for the facility

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business management or related field
  • 2 years’ previous experience in clerical role
  • CPR Certification

  • Prior experience in healthcare and insurance billing
