Oversee daily administrative, Human Resources, and transactional operations for a division of Gourmet Foods International. This role ensures smooth and compliant business operations by coordinating HR administration, providing accounting support, managing inventory, and assisting customer service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Human Resources activities, including recruiting support, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and employee inquiries
- Review time and attendance records for accuracy prior to payroll deadlines
- Act as the division liaison with Corporate HR for employment changes, injuries, vehicle accidents, and employee documentation
- Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including document scanning, invoicing, deposits, expense coding, and vendor bill-backs
- Manage inventory-related adjustments and receive stock or non-stock purchase orders
- Enter sales orders and manage special pricing requests in coordination with divisional sales management
- Manage office operations, supplies, services, and inter-company document transfers
- Provide front-line customer service support, including answering calls, assisting customers, and resolving concerns
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with managers, coworkers, customers, and vendors
- Strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent customer service in a fast-paced business environment
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential employee and financial information appropriately
- Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Human Resources or payroll functions
- Accounting or office administration experience in a distribution or logistics environment
- Familiarity with ERP, document management, or timekeeping systems
