Occupational Therapist School Setting

About This Role

Soliant is hiring two Occupational Therapists for K-12 school settings in Carbon and Lehigh Counties, Allentown, PA. These contract roles involve providing specialized occupational therapy services to students with disabilities, aligned with school calendars through June 2026.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in special education programs
• Assess and support functional, motor, sensory, and adaptive skills to enhance student independence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams, including teachers and related service providers
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Document therapy services and student progress accurately using electronic systems

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license
• Experience working with students in school-based special education settings
• Familiarity with IEP processes and team collaboration
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency with electronic documentation and basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
