Nurse Assistant

About This Role

This role involves providing basic patient care activities, observing and reporting patient condition changes, and assisting with daily living tasks to ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, bathing, feeding, and ambulation
• Observe patients and report any changes in condition to the Registered Nurse
• Answer patient call lights and respond appropriately
• Transport patients to and from units as directed by the Registered Nurse
• Straighten patient rooms, change linens, and perform related tasks
• Replenish supply stock needed for basic patient care and order supplies
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer of patients
• Comply with safety policies and procedures
• Contribute to cost effective patient care by monitoring use of time, equipment, and supplies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Successful completion of a Nurse Assistant Program
• Prior Relevant Experience
