About This Role

A Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a contract position to work with advanced imaging technology and a dedicated cardiology team in a hospital setting. This role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing diagnostic nuclear medicine studies, and assisting with treadmill stress tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and record radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per physician orders
• Conduct daily and weekly quality control dose testing
• Utilize advanced computer systems to process and enhance digital images
• Evaluate image quality and calibrate instrumentation
• Post processed images within Xeleris and document information in Nemis
• Collaborate with cardiologists or ACLS-certified RNs during stress echo and treadmill procedures
• Clean and maintain the imaging room and equipment after each patient

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years recent Nuclear Medicine technologist experience in a hospital environment
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT registration
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Proficiency with GEHC NM Infinia and NEMIS/Xeleris 5.0 equipment
• Experience performing Stress Echo and treadmill testing alongside cardiology professionals

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years recent Nuclear Medicine technologist experience in a hospital environment
