NST/Cyber Security Lead

About This Role

Lead the network and cyber security efforts for the MTC, designing, implementing, and managing classified and unclassified networks to support voice, data, and video services for exercises and events, while ensuring compliance with RMF and Cyber Security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the overall communications architect and network team manager for the MTC
• Design, plan, implement, and oversee classified and unclassified MTC networks (WAN and LAN) that support voice, data, and video services for exercises and events
• Manage MTC integration and use of networks owned and managed by external organizations, including NIPR, SIPR, CENTRIXS, tactical networks, and other required networks
• Coordinate network design requirements and responsibilities with other MTCs and training sites, training units, and external network and communications organizations
• Design and establish network architecture
• Coordinate network plans
• Configure network requirements

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in network management or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in network architecture design, implementation, and management
• Experience in advanced planning, troubleshooting and maintenance skills on the Microsoft server platform and Cisco router, switch, and firewall configuration and SONET configuration/architecture
• Strong understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies
• Experience with specific product lines (Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, and Tripwire)
• Understand the RMF Assess and Authorize process and Cyber Security requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in network management or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in network architecture design, implementation, and management
