About This Role

This role supports anesthesia providers and staff to ensure quality patient care during surgical cases and procedures, maintaining equipment and inventory in the Anesthesiology Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases and procedures to ensure quality patient care
• Provide support to anesthesia staff with preparation of room and equipment needed for patient care
• Protect patient and personal safety by following department processes, maintaining a sterile environment, and understanding equipment function
• Maintain supply, equipment, and pharmacy inventory to optimize delivery of anesthesia services
• Maintain cleanliness and proper function of anesthesia equipment and workroom
• Provide daily computer support
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
• Support Anesthesiologist in Optime

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nice to Have

• Relevant experience or training program preferred
