About This Role

Join the Graduate Nurse Residency Program as a new graduate RN to gain comprehensive clinical experience and develop essential skills in a hospital setting. This full-time program offers rotations through various departments, formal mentoring, and debriefing sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a guided clinical experience with an instructor-led core curriculum
  • Engage in a formal mentoring program
  • Attend informative debriefing and self-care sessions
  • Undergo supportive 360-degree evaluations
  • Rotate and cross-train through various hospital departments
  • Float to all areas of the hospital as part of the Resource Team
  • Gain hands-on experience with diverse patient populations

Requirements

  • ADN (Associates Nursing Degree)
  • Current RN licensure (Texas or Compact State)
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support

Qualifications

  • ADN (Associates Nursing Degree) is required upon hire
  • Less than one year experience at the time the residency begins preferred

Nice to Have

  • Graduated within the last 12 months
  • Less than one year experience at the time the residency begins
  • Have not previously completed a THR nursing residency
  • BSN preferred
