Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care to oncology patients ranging from young adults to geriatric, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice to ensure safe, therapeutic care and optimal patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care
- Adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures
- Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Advocate for patient needs
- Uphold professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Qualifications
