Network & Security Administrator

About This Role

Design, implement, and maintain a hybrid network infrastructure, integrating Azure cloud environments with physical switches and routers across four locations, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid network infrastructure across four locations
• Configure physical networking equipment
• Implement ExpressRoute/VPN solutions
• Deploy Azure-native security tools and on-prem security systems
• Support hybrid identity solutions using Azure AD
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance
• Perform routine hardware maintenance
• Apply Well-Architected principles to network design
• Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks like HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001
• Collaborate with engineers, administrators, and DevOps teams
• Maintain full documentation for network infrastructure

Requirements

• Experience with Azure cloud networking services
• Experience with hybrid networking
• Ability to design, configure, and maintain hybrid networks
• Experience with physical network hardware configuration
• Familiarity with security architecture including Azure-native and on-premises controls
• Hands-on experience with physical networking hardware and SNMP-based monitoring tools
• Experience with Azure Identity (Azure AD)
• Ability to perform routing, connectivity, and bandwidth troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Intermediate level experience in network and security administration

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001)
• Exposure to Well-Architected Framework principles
• Experience working in nonprofit environments
