Navigator Registered Nurse Specialist, Interventional Radiology/Imaging

About This Role

This role involves planning, directing, coordinating, and implementing programs in Interventional Radiology/Imaging. The specialist will evaluate patient status, instruct staff on techniques, and act as a resource for the healthcare team, ensuring quality control and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Reviews all protocols to maintain quality control and patient safety
• Assists Physicians with patient's compliance
• Participates in quality meetings to discuss cases and review clinical outcomes
• Meets the educational needs of families and other health care professionals concerning patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
• 3-5 years of technical experience
• 0-2 years of leadership / management experience
