Multi Modality Imaging Technologist (XRay and CT)

About This Role

Perform and produce images using multiple imaging modalities such as CT and X-ray, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostics. This role involves operating equipment, selecting appropriate imaging sequences, and providing radiation protection.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties for two imaging modalities, such as XR, CT, MRI, ARRT or RDMS
• Safely operate equipment and accessories to minimize risk to patients and equipment
• Select appropriate imaging and sequences in alignment with multiple factors
• Perform venipuncture including starting, maintaining, and removing intravenous access
• Provide radiation protection and other protection specific to the modalities
• Obtain and verify patient clinical history and lab work
• Use POC device for lab work

Requirements

• Registration with ARRT or RDMS or CNMT
• Competence in 2 imaging modalities with certification within 12 months (e.g., CT, XR)

Qualifications

• Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute for an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or an approved School of Ultrasound/Medical Sonography
• 1 year of experience in healthcare environment (preferred)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• State Licensure Certification
• 1 year of experience in healthcare environment
• EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training
• Picture archiving communication system (PACS) training
• Radiology Information System (RIS) training
• IV Contrast Administration training
