Review, evaluate, and make decisions on a full range of conventional and FHA mortgage loans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with investor guidelines. This role delivers timely and high-quality credit decisions.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite conventional & FHA loans
- Review applications and documentation for accuracy
- Work with clients to resolve outstanding items
- Ensure Federal, State, and Local compliance
- Approve or deny loans in a timely manner
- Partner with internal teams and support quality standards
Requirements
- Expert-level mortgage underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of DU/LP
- Understanding of mortgage regulations (including HMDA)
- Excellent communication & decision-making skills
- Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone
