Mobile Phlebotomist

About This Role

Join Sprinter Health as a full-time experienced phlebotomist, delivering routine health services directly to patients' homes. Utilize modern technology to manage schedules, collect relevant information and samples, and ensure accurate labeling and drop-off to labs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper supplies and PPE are available for daily patient care
• Access daily schedule using modern technology
• Make warm and welcoming connections with patients of all ages
• Collect relevant patient information, including specimen collection, vital signs, and heart and lung tones
• Utilize expert phlebotomy skills to collect blood samples comfortably for patients
• Ensure collected samples are labeled properly
• Coordinate sample drop-off to appropriate labs or shipment facilities

Requirements

• Experience as a phlebotomist
• Reliable, professional, customer-oriented
• Ability to work independently with a high standard of excellence
• Able to work in a revolutionary environment that sometimes necessitates last minute problem solving and out of the box thinking
• Technologically savvy and comfortable using tools such as mobile devices for charting and HIPAA secure messaging apps for care coordination
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Interest in learning and advancing skill set
• Reliable transportation (own vehicle) to travel to patient homes
• Ability to physically access and navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 10 pounds
• Pass national background check, DMV check, valid clinical license search
• Current Vehicle Insurance
• COVID-19 vaccination + booster
• Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR) vaccination
• Hep B vaccination
• Varicella vaccination
• TB test (within the past year)
• Flu shot (annual or signed exemption)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (TDaP - within past 10 years)
