Join Sprinter Health as a full-time experienced phlebotomist, delivering routine health services directly to patients' homes. Utilize modern technology to manage schedules, collect relevant information and samples, and ensure accurate labeling and drop-off to labs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper supplies and PPE are available for daily patient care
- Access daily schedule using modern technology
- Make warm and welcoming connections with patients of all ages
- Collect relevant patient information, including specimen collection, vital signs, and heart and lung tones
- Utilize expert phlebotomy skills to collect blood samples comfortably for patients
- Ensure collected samples are labeled properly
- Coordinate sample drop-off to appropriate labs or shipment facilities
Requirements
- Experience as a phlebotomist
- Reliable, professional, customer-oriented
- Ability to work independently with a high standard of excellence
- Able to work in a revolutionary environment that sometimes necessitates last minute problem solving and out of the box thinking
- Technologically savvy and comfortable using tools such as mobile devices for charting and HIPAA secure messaging apps for care coordination
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Interest in learning and advancing skill set
- Reliable transportation (own vehicle) to travel to patient homes
- Ability to physically access and navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 10 pounds
- Pass national background check, DMV check, valid clinical license search
- Current Vehicle Insurance
- COVID-19 vaccination + booster
- Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR) vaccination
- Hep B vaccination
- Varicella vaccination
- TB test (within the past year)
- Flu shot (annual or signed exemption)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (TDaP - within past 10 years)
