Mobile Phlebotomist PRN

About This Role

Join Getlabs as a PRN Mobile Phlebotomist to provide essential at-home diagnostic collections, contributing to improved patient adherence and care access. This role combines clinical expertise with a patient-first approach to deliver exceptional care experiences.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their home or office for blood collection and diagnostic services
• Drive to and from appointments in your own vehicle
• Process specimens using a car-compatible centrifuge
• Drop off samples at patient service centers or laboratories
• Follow safe and accurate blood collection procedures and specimen processing with high accuracy
• Adapt to a rapid high-growth environment
• Maintain close communication with operations and patient experience teams during business hours
• Confirm availability for scheduling on a weekly basis
• Work a minimum of three days a week (Monday-Friday, 5am-1pm) with potential for up to 29 hours
• Provide exceptional customer service during patient interactions

Requirements

• 1 year of phlebotomy experience
• Experience processing samples
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to drive in the dark (first appointments may be as early as 5am)
• Ability to physically access patients, including kneeling, bending, stooping, sitting, and reaching
• Ability to physically navigate patients' homes, including climbing stairs and carrying 15 pounds while walking
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record
• COVID-19 vaccination required for any employee in contact with patients

Qualifications

• 1 year of phlebotomy experience (mobile phlebotomy experience preferred)
