This role is responsible for transporting patients, delivering equipment and supplies, and dispatching for the Mission Control department in a hospital setting. It involves monitoring various systems to ensure smooth patient and materials movement.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas
- Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital
- Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas
- Act as central dispatcher for Mission Control department
- Monitor systems: RTLS, security cameras, HUGS, fire panel, generator annunciator, medical gas, and other systems associated with patient and materials movement
- Secure necessary maintenance and repair of equipment
- Maintain adequate stock levels of supplies
- Assist patients in dressing appropriately for procedures
- Deliver patient concierge services
Requirements
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months related experience and 6 months customer service preferred
Nice to Have
- 6 Months related experience
- 6 Months customer service experience
- Knowledge of Windows/PC
