Mission Control I

About This Role

This role is responsible for transporting patients, delivering equipment and supplies, and dispatching for the Mission Control department in a hospital setting. It involves monitoring various systems to ensure smooth patient and materials movement.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas
• Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital
• Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas
• Act as central dispatcher for Mission Control department
• Monitor systems: RTLS, security cameras, HUGS, fire panel, generator annunciator, medical gas, and other systems associated with patient and materials movement
• Secure necessary maintenance and repair of equipment
• Maintain adequate stock levels of supplies
• Assist patients in dressing appropriately for procedures
• Deliver patient concierge services

Requirements

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 months related experience and 6 months customer service preferred

Nice to Have

• 6 Months related experience
• 6 Months customer service experience
• Knowledge of Windows/PC
