This role is responsible for delivering superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a positive "Judgement Free" experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests, assisting with check-ins and inquiries
- Promote the Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the club floor, offering assistance, and upholding club policies
- Resolve member concerns and escalate issues to the Club Manager as needed
- Answer phones courteously and assist callers with inquiries
- Perform membership functions including sign-ups, updates, cancellations, collecting unpaid balances, and transferring memberships
- Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club monthly/yearly targets
- Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assessing membership needs
- Execute retail transactions accurately and drive sales
- Regularly clean and sanitize all exercise equipment and Recovery Zone amenities, including communal spaces
- Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free following routine schedules
- Conduct comprehensive walks of all club areas to quickly address safety/policy issues and cleanliness concerns
- Promptly address maintenance and facility concerns like broken equipment or leaky fixtures
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided)
- Basic computer proficiency
