Member Services Representative

About This Role

Deliver five-star service to credit union members by answering inquiries, solving problems, and providing new product information in a fast-paced call center environment. This role involves building relationships and ensuring member satisfaction while handling various banking transactions.

Responsibilities

• Answer an average of 80-100 calls per day, addressing member inquiries, solving problems, and providing new product information
• Answer members' telephone calls promptly and in an appropriate manner
• Answer inquiries on banking products including checking, savings, loans, and lines of credit
• Document all customer inquiries and comments thoroughly and quickly
• Maintain good business relations with members, courteously and promptly resolving member problems or questions, and effectively assisting with member account issues
• Determine members' financial service needs and recommend services and products that address these needs
• Collect member loan payments
• Handle various accounting transactions
• Deliver stellar service to credit union members
• Provide solutions to member issues, including online banking problems, account information, and general inquiries, potentially taking loan applications

Requirements

• Outgoing and personable demeanor
• Ability to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
• Previous retail/customer service experience
• Strong computer skills, including typing, searching, and performing transactions quickly

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Entry Level

• Associate's degree in business or a related field
