Member Customer Services Representative

About This Role

This role involves providing exceptional customer service to members by handling inquiries, resolving problems, and offering information on banking products. The representative will manage a high volume of calls daily while maintaining strong computer skills for efficient documentation and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Answer an average of 80-100 calls per day addressing members' inquiries, solving problems, and providing new product information
• Answer members' telephone calls promptly and in an appropriate manner
• Answer inquiries on banking products, including checking, savings, loans, and lines of credit
• Document all customer inquiries and comments thoroughly and quickly
• Maintain good business relations with members, courteously and promptly resolving member problems or questions, and effectively assisting with member account problems
• Determine members' financial services needs, and recommend services and products that address these needs
• Collect member loan payments
• Handle various accounting transactions

Requirements

• Previous retail/customer service experience
• Strong computer skills
• High school diploma/GED

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED. An Associate’s degree in business or a related field is a plus!
• Entry Level, previous retail/customer service experience required.
