Medical-Surgical RN

About This Role

Deliver exceptional patient care as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, utilizing clinical skills in a well-supported hospital setting for a contract opportunity in Larned, KS.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and effective nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit
• Administer and monitor intravenous medication drips including Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Float within scope of practice to the Emergency Department as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and standards

Requirements

• Current KS RN or Compact Nursing License
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum one year hospital experience in medical-surgical nursing

Qualifications

• Minimum one year hospital experience in medical-surgical nursing

Nice to Have

• Experience with IV drips (gtts)
