Medical Assistant - Urology Clinic

About This Role

This Medical Assistant role involves performing clinical and administrative tasks within a urology clinic, working closely with providers to ensure excellent patient care and smooth clinic operations. The position focuses on direct patient interaction, procedural assistance, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic
• Room and prepare patients according to clinic-specific checklists or procedures
• Measure patient weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Complete required patient care documentation including Medical Histories and referral requests
• Perform a variety of procedures following established protocols, including sterile procedure setup and specimen collection
• Assist with day-to-day operations and support fellow teammates and providers when necessary

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization
• 1 year experience in a similar healthcare role
