This role involves serving as a liaison between physicians and patients, conducting patient triage, and assisting with examinations and procedures within a large oncology center.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between physicians and patients
- Conduct patient triage
- Document in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations and procedures
- Assist with patient scheduling as needed
- Conduct care plan/treatment plan tracking
- Manage and maintain equipment and supply inventory
Requirements
- 1 year of medical assistant experience
- Experience handling patient triage, vital signs, and injections
- Experience working with EMR systems
- Excellent communication skills
