Join a dynamic team as a Medical Assistant to support providers and ensure seamless patient care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Room patients quickly and efficiently
- Perform Electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures and vital sign measurement
- Update medical records
- Assist with minor procedures and administer injections
- Support patients through their visit, including discharge and follow-ups
- Manage medical supplies and ensure a clean work environment
Requirements
- High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Ability to multi-task and provide support to multiple providers
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
- BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
Nice to Have
- Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution or a community college program
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
