Medical Assistant

About This Role

This role involves assisting physicians and/or designees with patient examinations and treatments, maintaining medical records, and preparing treatment rooms. The Medical Assistant will also manage medical supplies and perform routine laboratory tests to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs and other pertinent information
• Record information in patients' medical records
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination
• Assist clinician with patient care
• Inventory, order, and replenish medical supplies and materials
• Give treatments and perform routine laboratory tests
• Schedule appointments, perform clinical tasks, and complete appropriate forms
• Administer medications, including injections
• Clean, process, sterilize, and check instruments
• Perform computer data entry functions
