About This Role

Join Mountain View Hospital as a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant to order, collect, and process routine and specialty testing, returning results to doctors, and providing excellent customer service to patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Order, collect, process routine and specialty testing, and return results to doctors
• Obtain and process doctor's orders and perform data entry
• Provide good customer service on the phone, to patients, doctors, and other medical staff
• Collect blood samples ensuring proper patient identification and labeling samples
• Follow clinic & hospital policies and procedures for transporting/delivering samples to the laboratory
• Perform CLIA waived moderate testing
• Handle laboratory supplies and stock supplies
• Ensure patients receive appropriate competent and quality clinical care and that customer service meets patient’s expectation
• Monitor and manage patient and staff incidents
• Maintain strict quality control for procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS Certification
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Phlebotomy course
• Phlebotomy experience
