Medical Assistant

About This Role

Provide patient-centered care within a Health Center setting, focusing on excellent patient care, communication, and concierge-level customer service as a Medical Assistant. Perform clinical and clerical duties while maintaining a consistent work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients
• Obtain blood and urine samples
• Measure and record vital signs
• Maintain clean exam rooms
• Perform clerical responsibilities
• Exhibit good clinical judgment within scope of role

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited MA program OR 1 year relevant work experience OR military trained medic OR Paramedic
• Current BLS, CPR certification
• Current health records with appropriate documentation for immunizations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus Medical Assistant certification/diploma, 1 year relevant work experience, military trained medic, or paramedic
• Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical setting is strongly preferred
